Zero value opponents suddenly appear

Has anyone figured out why you suddenly ONLY get opponents that are worth zero points appearing? You start getting matched only with players with 0-350ish points when you might be on 2200 points for example + at the same time these 0-350ish point characters can attack you + other players that already have you on their list can attack you. Most players with low points only have low level characters so they don't attack you, but there's sometimes a few high levels starting out in the competition who will hit you for 50 points.

As far as I can tell it seems to start when you progress past certain round numbers (eg. past a multiple of 1000) + possibly when you've hit the same characters multiple times although these could be unrelated. Is it a bug or a crude way of stopping you progressing too fast?

This has wasted me hundreds of HP, I'd probably be at least 600-700HP richer (which is a lot for me) if it weren't for these sudden halts to progression + how expensive the shields are that are required to prevent major point loss in the tournaments as you are being attacked but can't earn points. I'm a bit wary of buying any HP at the moment if they have to be wasted on shields to prevent rapid point loss for reasons that are out of your control. I wonder what the chance of getting the problem fixed + a refund on these HP is?

Does anyone have tips on how to get out of this bracket of low level characters once you get into it? Blasting your way through low level players doesn't seem to work icon_e_biggrin.gif as I did this for an hour or two and they kept coming, but at other times I seem to have only got stuck there a few minutes. Perhaps getting attacked a couple of times or as time elapses allows you to move out of it?

    This is happening to me right now...i had to shield up to protect myself...anyone know how to get out of zero point hell?

    you guys plaing too much , you suposed to be in 500-1000 range - then you will have oponents with points.

    PVP events are sooooooooooo broke right now. I don't even bother to compete

    No that's not what's happening...all of a sudden all your opponents are in the 0-300 range, and you're at a 1000+

    And then it just goes away and you get reasonable opponents again.

    My last sentence was joke. You describe some strange behaviour. Everything could happened in this events until they fix issues

    I hope they fix these issues before introducing the charge for skipping. Being matched vs 85/85/85 teams worth zero points would be frustrating.
