    Can someone connected to a winner let us know how the winner was contacted? I really hope it isn't via that facebook. I have all mail from that abomination routed to my spam folder.

    I won the November 2014 HP lottery and can tell you exactly how it is processed. D3 customer service sends an email directly to the winner. You need to make sure you have the domain @d3p.us in your spam whitelist if you want to be super careful. My Gmail spam filter thought it was spam but luckily I found it (after a brief panic attack since it was a few hours outside the 72-hour window). This is the content of the email:
    SUBJECT: Hero Points Sweepstakes Winner - Marvel Puzzle Quest
    Hi David –
    Congratulations, you are the Grand Prize winner in the Hero Points Sweepstakes for Marvel Puzzle Quest. You have won 40,000 Hero Points to use within the game.
    Please confirm that you are a player of the Marvel Puzzle Quest game by sending me your current in-game player name and/or ID. Hero Points will be rewarded within 72 hours to your account.
    In addition, can we share your name on Facebook and Twitter as one of our winners?
    On confirmation from you from this email, we will distribute your prize. Please respond within 72 hours or risk forfeiture of prize.

    After my win was confirmed, within an hour or so, 2 of these showed up in-game:

    I bought my 4hor to full covers, among a few other worthwhile cover investments and roster slots. I've never been a big spender - maybe $20/mo prior to that win. That huge 40,000 HP win was a game changer for me to compete in the 4* arena and I've still got 6K HP left over 4 months later without spending a dime.

    Haha yeah I'm in the same boat here. The email linked to my facebook isn't even active anymore I just kept using it out of laziness. Hopefully someone answers soon so I know I didn't win.

    I would like that too but can also understand why they wouldn't. The whole point is to generate new interest in the game.

    Well, I learned about the game (and decided to take the plunge) from Twitter. That's certainly another route for creating interest.

    Can anyone answer when they're announcing the winners? It isn't posted on the FB page that I can find and the woobox link just says the contest is over.
