MPQ application is closed = retreat penalty

Closing the game (on android) while in battle is counted as a retreat.
However closing the application could be not intentional.
- could be application crash
- switching out and back to the application sometimes triggers application restart (android)
- low battery or phone freezing
The best thing would be if the battle would be continueable in these situations.
Or, once a day, this kind of "retreat" shouldn't be counted as a retreat.
Or the game could check if the battle had any match (my game-crashes were when battle started, with no matching action done)

Most likely there is economic conversation with the server: once that battle started and once that it's finished. Nothing in between. What makes resume not possible.
IMO dropping out should be a rare enough case to count as retreat, other ways would open simple exploits. If your battery is out don't start the match.0 -
I've had that, I've equiped 3 boosts just started the fight then the app closes, my character loose health, I loose my boosts and it counts as a fight against the opponent. Very anoying considering it wasn't my fault.0

Yeah I've had the 3x 240's down to their last turn and then .....
Pasa is definitely right about the exploits though0 -
It sucks, but I'm ok with it. Crashes should be a rare event.0

My main concern is forced retreat when the buggy MPQ app crashes when fastness and low hp usage is important. this happens about weekly once. And when switching apps, which i learnt i should not do.
I think continue could be implemented without adding more exploitability. If there is two communications only per battle, that shiuld be the most exploitable thing0 -
I've noticed this as well, and it's very frustrating. I understand protecting against an exploit, but players shouldn't be penalized for no fault of their own. I find it happens most when someone calls me while in-game.0
