Best 1* to beat DDQ 1st node.

I cannot beat the 1* node of DDQ with any character that Ive been able to collect. My first thought ofcourse was Juggernaut. Obvious choice right? since DDQ has come out I would say I have won close to 100 1* s, only one of which has been Jughead. Ironman couldnt cut it, Hawkeye couldnt either. Who are those of you NOT using Jugs using?

Iron Man, Black Widow, Storm. Collect blue, stun. I'm glad I kept these characters in my roster!0

What level are your IM/Hawkeye? They should be able to handle it without issue. It seems fairly improbable to have come across only 1 Juggs unless you're v new to the game.0

Juggernaut and IM35 can each solo the node without any problems, and there's no risk of either being locked out since neither has a 2* counterpart.
Juggernaut can solo it around level 10 (mine is 20 for safety), and IM35 can probably solo it around 40-45 (being safe).0 -
I use Storm, BW, Juggs. Every time.
For 2* I switch to CStorm, MNM, MHawkeye. Yesterday, that team carried me the rest of the way. I did the final wave with them too just for giggles. They got wiped today though.0 -
I do it with a level 30 Storm. Boost +3 G/B to get a head start on Lightning and Hailstorm. I've wiped a couple of times when I've had a really bad board, but generally have no trouble. Focus on the hero first and then goons.0

I had to check if Jugs was vaulted as I went so long without getting one. ATM IM is 1yellow, 5blue and Hawkeye is 5 pink and 1red. I just won enough HP to have both play at the same time and they BARELY beat it tonight. took out Daken with IM dead and Hawkeye at 19 hp. That was with booste R/Y & P/B & TU. But felt good to finally beat it.0

Nothing on the first node can survive a level 40 Headbutt (and probably not even a significantly lower level one) so Juggernaut by himself is generally sufficient. I have a Modern Storm around but usually either of Juggernaut's move is more than enough to decide the game by knocking out the only person that can move the tiles.0

Definitely the Juggernaut. I had mine at level 11, and he managed fine for a while. Once the ninjas came out he took a whuppin' pretty quickly, so I brought him up to level 21. He's rocked the house since then.
As an additional hint, there's a few Juggernaut covers available in the Prologue. If you haven't finished all of the missions (and you should, there's some amusing dialog in there), that might be a good place to start to get a usable Juggernaut. Don't forget the power of team-ups; my favorite is Chemical Reaction for that fight, as even without strike tiles it's enough to down the low-level enemies in that first node if things start to get ugly.0 -
Just suck up and add a couple roster slots for 1* character. I assure you that is not the only time when they will be necessary. Juggs, IM35 and Venom are a nice rainbow team, and so are Storm, MBW and Juggs.0
-
Juggs definitely the best. He's the only 1* that I have. His red kills anyone in that node in one shot and his green is a good board shaker. Not to mention he's the juggernaut.0

Fully covered level 15 Juggs will show you the way to enlightenment!0

Juggernaut is also worth having for Balance of Power and Combined Arms events.0

I've been soloing it with mbw level 40, with the help of damage dealing team ups...
I've added a level 10 jugs the last few days to make it not such a close call...now I'm breezing through it...You don't need much0 -
I heard that if you clear that node with solo Yelena you win a fully covered and levelled Iron Fist.0
-
Maxed Juggs can clear it on his own...*headbutt*0
