Deadpool Daily - Purple Daredevil using a 2** Army

I wanted to upload another video for anyone having trouble with a 2** army (Stormneto and OBW) vs the final 4 waves of the Deadpool Daily.
One of the techniques highlighted is "playing with your food" like a cat and NOT using hero powers as soon as you get them.

I do the same. Except I use hawkeye instead of OBW. So you kinda get a double bonus of the magneto skill. Less survivability, but so much more damage.

Hey lutcha, that's a great idea and probably someone I should have run with that combo to make it more effective.

I use stormneto plus Thor. I have come no where close to losing even once. All but once I have taken less than 1000 in total damage to the entire team.

There are so many AP generating moves that it just cycles while giving damage.

Mags purple makes blue.

Mags red makes lots of AP

Thor yellow makes green AP

Storm green makes lost of AP

It's an endless cycle with windstorms downing everyone. So starting out you just have to survey the board target the color that will start your cycle the fastest.

Storm-mag and black IM is better for many waves. To me I will save obw for the next fight

I use Widow, Daken and Thor. I think you can pretty much use any reasonable combination of 2 characters with Widow to beat this.

At the beginning of wave 4, you said "I didn't want that huge cascade, they'll go first - they should've gone first."

Your cascade triggered a match-5 (as evidenced by the falling critical tile), causing a new turn.

Just a heads up.

any survival node my go to team is Hulk - MNMags - C.Storm. Only time I take damage is wave 1 when i'm storing AP. It's smooth sailing afterwards.

I applaud the effort for tutorial videos.

1. 1:22 The 'lucky' cascade was totally predictable.
2. 3:40 You could have gotten rid of the green countdown earlier by dropping a green down with the team-up match.
3. Ending a wave with a power isn't as necessary if you know the next wave will be goons, especially wave 2 of 4 in the Deadpool's dailies.

Overall, it seems like you didn't get unlucky with the board. The speed of the final 2 rounds seemed very good. I think this video almost makes the case for Polarity Shift being as good a utility move as OBW's AP steal.

I need some help with composing a team to beat this.
Unfortunately i do not have any decks of Magneto..

What i do have is the following:

127 Thor 3* (334)
104 Hulk (413)
104 Rock&Groot (043)

94 Ares
94 Black Wid
94 Capt Ms. Marvel
94 Daken
94 Hawk
94 Storm
94 Thor
94 Wolverine

Ill be honest, i didn't beat any Big enchilada yet (guess im a noob), but this vid helped me think of better strategy.
Now since i don't have Magneto..
What would another working composition be with what i have?
Any help appreciated.

Best one is probably OBW/Storm/Thor, giving you damage in red and yellow, and letting you feed green. Unfortunately, with bad boards you might not get enough blue to totally stun your enemies. It is more vulnerable to countdowns, but you do have some semblance of board control with Thor's yellow.

I just won a red deadpool card with OBW/Daken/Thor, this was far from ideal tho (barely made it).

PVPMore - Why not? Lol. if you don't have a Magneto you're getting bad advice on who to cut and build up.

If you want please give me the name of your alliance and I'd be glad to scan your roster and give you some advice.

Magneto, Storm, and OBW are MUST haves staples. Also I wouldn't level up much more right now or else you might really screw up your scaling.
Especially since you really want to keep Hood underleveled so your other characters "tank" for him. Might be too late.

DeathStroke - Thanks for pointing this out. The alliance im in is not rly chatty tbh and i don't ask for help myself.

I will make space for Magneto and lvl him up once i get the cards.

Couple of Important re-spec notes.
Recommend
Ares 4/4/5 best ability is probably his yellow and you want the heal coming quickly. Also you would almost never use Ares Green at 5 (unless final blow) so it's not as valuable to have the 5th cover there reducing when you can use it.
ObW 3/5/5 Def want the speed of stealing AP and the countdowns added coupled with a boost of healing
Storm 5/5/3 Lightning storm is an amazing AP generator and better than the revenge dmg
Thor 3/5/5 Thunderstrike into a Full blast call of the storm is typically better than the dmg you'll get from red
Don't add anymore yellow to IM40. I've heard 2 yellow is ideal.

Save your HP only for unlocking more roster spots and occasionally to shield in a PVP event when you have enough to T100.

I've used that same mix, with Daken center and Thor left, on every day I've won - which is everything but She-Hulk. (I'll have to sit at least two out this cycle, having pruned out 3* Daken and Squirrel Girl at various points to make room in my roster). I've occasionally wiped due to really bad boards, but have managed all the Enchiladas.

My general goals: prioritize Blue during my first few moves. Try to the OBW to delay any countdowns I can't clear and purple to steal as many AP as possible. Attempt to enter wave 2 with 30 each of Green & Yellow stockpiled; off the last goon of wave 1 with Mjolnir's Might and then go to town on the characters that show up. Lather, rinse, and repeat for waves 3 and 4.

So at the beginning I won all the covers with my
- spiderman 140lv 3,4,5
- x force 131 1,2,3
- CMags 117 4,1,4
Now I can win it anymore , I really want to win Dr.Doom today but simply can't do it. Other heroes that I have are:
- Loki 104 5,1,2
- Ares 94 4,4,5
- Ms.Marvel 94 3,5,5
- Daken 94 4,4,5
- 2* torch 94 5,5,3
- 2* thor 94 3,5,5
- 2* wolverine 5,5,3
- hulk 91 5,1,0
- hood 87 5,2,0
- 3* torch 3,2,2
- 3* storm 4,0,2
- Deadpool 63 3,2,1
- OBW 55 3,5,5
- Daredevil 55 4,1,1
- Psylocke 1,2,1

I would suggest Thor, OBW, and Torch.
I think you could steal enough to fire up Torch and Thor and SAVE all your powers for waves 2 and 4. I don't have a weak OBW and don't have a max Torch to shoot a video with them but I think that is what I would try.
