Again ragnarok nerf.. I do think it"s time to move on ppl

With Ragnarok, they overdid the nerf.

Thor, Wolverine, Magneto, and Spiderman are up to be nerfed.

We haven't seen how they will get nerfed yet.

If the devs post their plans, and they aren't overdone, then the issue is settled. At the moment, Ragnarok is the baseline for how extreme a nerf can be. Currently, that seems to be "Mulitply AP costs by 3". That is too much. Here are the sort of nerfs that myself and others are worried about seeing:
All Tied Up - Blue 18 AP
Spider-Man wraps up the target in webbing, adding a new Yellow Web tile to the board and then stunning the enemy for 1 turn for each Web tile on the board (to a maximum of 5 turns).
      Level Upgrades
Level 2: Costs 2 AP less. Level 3: Costs 2 AP less. Level 4: Costs 2 AP less. Level 5: Costs 2 AP less.

        Mjolnir’s Might - Red 20 AP
Thor brings his hammer down on the enemy, dealing 125 damage. The magical energies of his hammer begin to charge his next strike, adding 5 Yellow tiles to the board.
        Level Upgrades
Level 2: Costs 2 AP less. Level 3: Costs 2 AP less. Level 4: Costs 2 AP less. Level 5: Costs 2 AP less.
        Max Level: 1113 damage
Feral Claws - 14 Green AP
Wolverine's rage builds. He deals 31 damage and adds 1 Red Strike tile plus 1 for every 5 Red AP you have.
          Level Upgrades
Level 2: Costs 2 AP less. Level 3: Costs 2 AP less. Level 4: Costs 2 AP less. Level 5: Costs 2 AP less.[/u]

Once we've seen how the upcoming slate of nerfs turns out, then Ragnarok will stop being the major data point. IW is still too weak.
If thats the case, dev really good at getting player piss.Yup, IW still appear weak. If her bubble force can protect ally/own countdown/special tile and freeze enemy effect tiles, it would be different though. I also send dev comment on iw drawing art looks ugly but no feedback from them.

And once they are finalized, they'll let us know, and we'll get a short notice (and likely preview) before the changes appear in the next patch.

We should see them before they are finalized. There should be an opportunity for discussion.

For example, if they increase the cost of Wolverine's Feral Claws from 3 AP to 23 AP, there will be a lot of discussion along the lines of the nerf being far too extreme. Convincing discussion. Enough for the Devs to reconsider. If it goes from 3AP to 6AP, with something else to balance it, then likely the Dev's explanation will be accepted.

Besides... nothing is really final anyways. They should give visibility to proposed changes early.

          Why?

Your brand of 'discussion' as demonstrated here and in your subsequent post is to open with hyperbole and hysteria and work your way up. There isn't any point in engaging someone who thinks feral claws is going to 23 AP in discussion. Maybe if your posts were constructive and came across as anything other than a child throwing an irrational tantrum there might be some value in dialogue.

But you have yet to even display an understanding of why Rag was broken or how badly it was, so what use would there be engaging you in finding a solution? If you want D3 to engage maybe you should start with reasonable suggestions. They aren't you parents and won't be held ransom to exaggeration and temper tantrums.

At 2AP, Ragnarok's ability to deal 1000+ damage while generating 5 green was overpowered. Combined with boosts and BWGS, most teams could be instantly destroyed with 3 Rag reds and then a sniper shot from BWGS. Also, the AI for Ragnarok was aggressive, and it was a pain to fight against him when he was boosted. It's widely accepted that he needed a fix.

Many threads detailed how they could have done a better job balancing the character:
how would you have handled it?
Are You Happy With the Nerfs/Buffs (Poll).
negative goodwill for a nerf on rag

The consensus is that they went too far. The gamebalancing could have been done better, and they wouldn't have enraged so many players. As for Rags, the only time I see him now is when he's buffed, and even then an appearance by him is rare. I used to see him in every top level team. He's gone from 95% usage to 5% usage when buffed. This is strong evidence the nerf was overdone.

Currently, Thor / Wolverine 2* / Spiderman are in virtually all the high level teams I see. Should the upcoming nerf cripple them so much that less than 5% of people use them? I hope not.
