Alliance score display error

I have searched for a bug report related to this issue, but for some reason am unable to find anything regarding this particular familiar issue for many.

When an alliance is at less than 20 members and gets random requests to join by other players, even if they are not accepted to the alliance their score displays when another person looks at the score break down for the Alliance PVE, however it does not add to the total. This is very unfortunate, because it has led to many messages to our commanders claiming that we are cheating. I am certain that other alliances that are at the top of the board often have gotten similar messages. I am tired of getting accused of cheating when we have members who work very hard to get the scores that put us at the top of the ranks every time Please fix this issue, as it seems to be a very simple and obvious display bug! At one point we had been at 19/20 members for a week or so and appeared to have around 58 members that had scores displayed, but were not in fact contributing to our total score!
