New player, kind of transitioning to 2*. I have a couple of them almost fully covered but pretty useless roster so i kept their levels pegged at 54 (foolishly pushed up 3* Daredevil... don't ask)

Thor 12covers 3/3/5
Captain America 5/3/4
Captain Marvel 4/5/4 but can do 3/5/5
Moonstone - 5/2/2 sigh, no ISO spent at least but should have sold the covers perhaps.
Wolverrine - 2/3/3 no ISO
The others are inadequately covered.

Pulled a 4* fury, got excited for a minute then realised he's up at level 70.
Will he drastically affect my PVE scaling?
To the point i'm going to have to push up Thor, Marvel and maybe Captain America to level 70 ?

Or perhaps ditch Fury, by the time he's usuable there will probabaly be others as i haven't transitioned to 2* land, let along 3* land yet?..

tx

Levels affecting scaling is mostly a myth. Go ahead and add Fury to your roster. If things jump up, you can always sell him later.

I pulled a 4* on my second account, which is even lower level than yours, and it didn't change PvE scaling at all. IF character levels do affect enemy levels, it doesn't start at level 70.
  • Do NOT throw Fury away (which color, btw). If you keep playing the game long enough, future you will thank present-day you for your forethought. (I also pulled Fury very early on).

At your stage, "scaling" isn't making things harder as much as lack of covers is making things harder. Fully covered characters sometimes are more valuable than higher-level characters. Unless you simply don't have the roster space or the HP for more roster spots, I wouldn't worry about selling new covers for ISO and would only sell covers for which you already have a full set. You will gather enough ISO as you go over time.

Things change up enough in MPQ that it is tricky to guess what covers will and won't be useful later. I recommend holding onto all you can at that stage, as different characters may prove useful at different times.

That seems to be the case from what i've seen, the AI has a fully covered character at the same level which makes it challenging.

thanks for the replies, was toing and froing.....then pulled 4hor.

I should be more happy. going to have to find some roster space for the pair (Fury Purple and a 4hor red).

only 5 covers at the moment.......
Although i did sell at 2 purple cover version before i knew any better.

The constant Moonstone, Captain Marvel covers didn't help.

The number of covers the AI has depends on the character's level. It's very obvious when you grind Heroic Mode Venom, difficulty rises dramatically when Venom scales up to level 5 in Symbiote Snare.
  • I ditto everyone about keeping him. I wasn't even really transitioning to 2* land when I drew an x force. Knowing he was rare I immediately rostered him. I was even still able to place really high in pve, t100 my first time trying it out. Before getting maxed out 2* I drew furry and IW and still no problem. Biggest scaling issue is when the pve boosts you characters over 100.
