DDQ: Does the difficulty increase by playing it more?

So, I've been out of the game for months now, I just wanted to pop in and try this new DDQ. It looks kewl and all, but I have a question. Since I've been out for months and my MMR has dropped so low that when I join a bracket PVP bracket I see that the top scorer has only 400 points, does this daily mode get impossible when I get back my normal MMR?

I'm planning into logging in every day just for the DDQ in order to max cover what I already have. I know, stupid plan as it will take very long to do it. Well, many of the aspects of the game that made me quit are still there, so I'm not ready to jump back just yet. However, I see this DDQ is a fast way for a daily 3* cover. This way I can keep boosting my roster while not playing the game for real. If I decide to jump back into it, at least I'll have something to begin with instead of a 1 year old dead roster.

So, back to my question. For you people that you play the game normally, is this DDQ super hard or you can do it in max 10 mins like I did?

Btw, I used LCap, OBW, Ares to do it first time and the second time Ares, OBW, Daken. All maxed. Apart from the essential character I don't see any other difficulty into beating it so far.

I used 140 LThor, Hulk, LDaken and did it relatively straight-forwardly, 10 mins. As it's 2 days in, no idea if it will get harder, but it supposed to be easy enough that people can progress and gain 3* covers on a regular basis. I assume this means those with 166 characters will do it easily. There is not supposed to be any scaling, or differences in level from person to person for this new mode.
  • I play every day and have been since about July of last year. I score about 1k per PVP and have multiple maxed 3 stars and working on my second 4 star

So my MMR is up there.

The levels of the characters for me this DDQ:

1 star node: level 15 bagman, level 10 ninjas
first multiple wave node: level range 20-50
2 star node: level 74 Loki, level 70 Gorgon, level 71 Human Torch
Essential node: Level 64 Black Widow, level 63 Human Torch, level 60 Hawkeye
final multiple wave node: level range 99-132

Took me maybe 10 minutes and no health packs.

So you tell me. Is my scaling significantly higher than yours?

Forgot to post my level ranges. Anyway, now that I check it, the level ranges I see are exactly the same as yours. So this could mean that this is an easy way to get 3* and progress. If this stays as it is now, I might regain my old feels back pretty fast.

There have been many nice changes since December (Time when I quit) and this is the only one that actually made me come back and match 3 tiles again.

Btw, I was able to do it twice today. Not sure why but I got a BP Yelow on the first try and then the event was saying "New event in 0:02 mins". Then it appeared again fresh with CMags cover as the reward. Not sure if this has anything to do with the fact that it has been a very long time since my last log in.
  • DPDQ got me to poke my head back in also. I think the quests reset at a certain time each day for everyone, so you likely caught the first one at the very end and happened to be sitting there when the next "day" rolled around.

It was pretty easy. I think 10 minutes for me to clear also. I was hoping for more of a challenge considering the amount of ISO that could be earned. I guess Im going to be looking at it like a good way for 3*s to be earned for those without max covers, or a way for the rest of us to get our 4*s a couple levels stronger.

From what I understand there is no scaling for the DDQ events. The levels are set the same for everyone.

Both of my accounts are the same for sure. One has IM35 at level 25 as the strongest character, the other 206 XForce. One clears them quickly, one can only beat the 1* node.

Yea, since its a mode designed to help newer players and transitioners, and half the event is limited to only 2* or 1* characters, I'm pretty sure the difficulty is set at a fixed level. I have 3 lvl 270s now, and the nodes are not very difficult. The final survival node is tricky depending on who you bring, but saving your AP and unloading it when the actual characters show up is usually more than enough to get there. I've completed both today's and yesterday's with very little difficulty. Time will tell if the difficulty will stay as is or start to spike, but I think it's static (Ok, I HOPE it's static)

I really hope it's static as well (and everything suggests that it is). As is, the survival node is quite will balanced to give a maxed 2-star roster an exciting-but-winnable experience. It's a node for usn's, and if it gets much harder it will no longer be a node for usn's.

True. I played with 2* chars and it was challenging enough to keep it interesting but not easy enough to go through it matching w/e. I guess they gave it a pretty good testing before they launched it. Also, for those that have maxed 3* and 4* this event will not be a big deal apart from the ISO that it offers.

I really enjoyed it to be honest. I hope it stays as it is and that they rotate many covers and not only a limited amount of them.

The DDQ resets with a new 3 star cover at 5am EST each day.

You must have played it at 4:50am EST.

Then at 5am, it reset to the CMags event.
