I remember back in the day, when I was a young 'un playing Final Fantasy 6, one of the more interesting battles was the ones where you had to split your team into 3 separate teams. This forced you out of a comfort zone of using just your 4 favorite guys, and forced you to level up more of your team.

No reason why they can't set the same thing up in MPQ. Three nodes: once you beat a node, it locks the guys you used to beat it. Maybe set them on a refresh time, similar to TU's,, if they want to give an out to guys that use their bosses in the first node and back themselves into a corner.

In addition to encouraging "Roster Diversity," it also gives a chance to experiment with synergies that you might never have thought to use.
