PVE Question

I started the Enemy of the State PVE event and I did 1 run. My timer runs up in 4 hrs so I am sitting at 3673 pts currently. Currently 1st place has 9248 and 2nd has 9094. After looking at the leader boards they did 7727 and 7270 in the first sub. So I am curious if that will bite them in the **** or if I will catch up by doing the "one run every 8 hrs and grind at the finish". Also what is the most optimumal way to pve now.

It depends on how they play vs how you play. The best way to play PVE is to "optimal" each sub. That is, follow the instructions in this post and read the rest of the htread for some clarifications. You will maximize your points. Many players grind the nodes as soon as the sub opens and while that's fine for getting progressions easy and big points early, the optimal player will always win out over someone that does not play optimally.

Thanks a lot. I've been doing the optimal way, but I missed out on top 50 on the last event by 130 pts. I'm about 3k away from first in this one, but I wanted to make sure I'm doing this right. I knew how to do the 3 hr refresh, but I wasnt 100% positive on the 8 hr.
