Not sure if this has been suggested but how about a reward for the top player in each alliance? Would increase friendly competition within the alliance to finish at the top of your team. Could have different prizes for different sized alliances.
20 members = 3 star cover
10 members = 2 star cover
<10 = 100 ISO
20 members = 3 star cover
10 members = 2 star cover
<10 = 100 ISO
