    Entered slice 3 about 30 minutes ago, my bracket is currently at 414 players, leader is Metallurg at 7825 points.

    Places 6-10 are at 3673, so this could be the total of one play through. I'll try to keep it updated untill it fills up.

    Usually the brackets fill up pretty fast when you join during the first 8-12 hours (bit of a guess there) of a new PVE event, in my experience at least. Joining after about a day there is a reasonable chance of ending up in a bracket that is not going to fill up before the end of the event, and you get the risk of being unable to get any top 150 (and up) prizes.

    I don't know if you want to join a new bracket to contend for top 10 or top 2, in which case it is well worth a shot to join a brand spanking new bracket, or if you just want top 150 or top 50, because the latter is basically just dependent on your ability to grind the event (more than entering in a high place). For instance, in the past I have joined a bracket in #933 to end up in the top 10 basically because I was able to play quite a lot. Mind you, I'm not saying this thread doesn't come in handy, just that people who are going to be able to grind a bit during the event are going to end up high anyway, even if they happen to join early and end up in #900-1000 initially.
