Colour-Blind Friendliness

First off, big props to the devs for making the tiles different shapes unlike the other Puzzle Quest games I've played. This helps a lot!

However, I'm red-green colour-blind (one of the commonest variants) and so still have some trouble differentiating the yellow and green tiles. (Yes, I know that's not red and green. Trust me, this is how it affects us.)

I'd love it if there were settings that could allow us to change the hue. I'd definitely change yellow to white.
* it'd eliminate my colour-blindness issues...
* white fits in nicely with the righteous/defensive nature of the yellow powers...
* Captain America would be red, white and blue!!

I realise the developers have bigger issues, and I really appreciate their work in balancing overpowered skills. This would be a cool thing to put on the wishlist though ^^

  • I have the exact same issue, mostly and when there are crazy tile icons all over (fists, webs, swords, shields, countdowns) it makes it even harder to tell the yellows and greens apart. I know the shapes are different, but it doesn't catch my eye in nearly the same way that the color difference does.

    This would be a nice addition. I have difficulties mainly as noted by ApolloAndy that when their are a lot of things distracting such as the icons listed in his post. It was even worse for me when they all glowed back before the update to the UI. I manage of course but this would be a nice edition at some point.
  • I support the idea, just being able to switch from Yellow to White would be Funcool.
