Question concerning Teamups

Hey guys, im wondering about something...

When i play PvP, i find the most interesting opponent combos with (seems like) totally random Teamups. Until now, i only had a single strong TU with me, thinking that a lvl 250 Hulk teamup might be qualified to scare attackers off, but never seeing anything similar in enemy teams, i started to wonder if my used TU are used by my defense team at all.
I know that, in PvE, the enemy team's TU changes when i attack the same team with different characters.

What is it like in PvP? Is it my TU the enemy has to face or is it also a random tile?

    As far as I know, it is random. SOmetimes you see teamups from characters that haven't been released just yet - today and tomorrow you might see a Cyclops team-up for example.
