Final score doesn't count?

So how can the game tell me that the PvP is over and my final score is 913 points, but the second after I click continue, a new message pops up, showing me I was attacked two times and lost 73 points, putting me at 840 and rank 28, effectively making me miss the red Magneto cover? How? Why post "this is your final score" if that score is somehow still "floating"? I feel so frustrated now! And poor...have to buy that red cover for 1250 hp instead.

I assume "final" is part of the standard text even though scores are still reconciling. Same thing happens when it shows you reached a progression reward but oops, no you didn't. Would be better if they just said it's over and left the score out of it for five minutes.
