unfair matchups vs rewards

Zeppy96 and i are in the same alliance. We joined the same end time "identity crisis" at the same time. She has less than 200 points but is ranked 93. I had over 400 pts but am ranked 300! We are friends in real life so I had questioned this problem before but now I can see it firsthand. Once again she is going to get way better rewards for a much lower score in the exact same event. How and why does this happen? I see that we have different opponents but level difference is extremely uneven.

    I'd be willing to bet you started the event at different times. It sounds like you've been played into separate shards - basically you're competing on different leader boards with a different group of people.

    [EDIT]: As a note, entering the same time slice does not mean you'll be in the same shard, especially if you don't physically join the slice at the same time (and even sometimes not then).
