who should get the AP?

ok so i've noticed this a couple of times now as i've been totally tiny kitty'd by it,
There are skills which places countdown/trap tiles that when matched destroy other tiles on the board.
these abilities include:
X-Forces Recovery
Fury's Demolition
Electra's Shadow step

hey look at that they are all star.pngstar.pngstar.pngstar.png chars....

anyways on a number of occasions i've found that when they are matched by the AI, they have resulted in 5-6 chain cascades netting the AI a whole heap of AP so that they can then go ahead and wipe my party....

so considering the fact that it was MY ability that triggered the cascade then shouldn't I get the AP??

thoughts?

    A counterargument is that the potential for the AI to gain AP through unexpected cascades is a downside of using these abilities in the first place - if the board is arranged in such a way that many 3 or 4-matches are possible, it's hazardous to use trap-style abilities that could cause board shakeup when matched or when their effect fires on the enemy's turn.

    It's funny cause I literally had the same thought yesterday. I kind of agree when the trigger my Demolitionist and it causes a massive cascade, it sucks that my trap tile beng hit results in me taking damage from that cascade.
