I loved that we were given a BP cover, I was bummed when they vaulted him, now at least I have one more cover until they eventually free the Kracken.

Are you familiar with the concept of Disney movies being vaulted? As in sealed for a number of years so that you have no way to get them... similar.

D3 vaults characters for a a season or more (real time, about a 1-3 months, so far). There is a list in the tips and guides on who is vaulted. While vaulted, they do NOT appear in token draws (like Heroic tokens). They ARE, however, given out by Deadpool's Daily Quest (like Black Panther recently was) and also through progression rewards (i.e. black panther reward at day 190...).

You should also say that characters are vaulted for the sake of keeping the odd of getting characters off tokens reasonable, and because it gives D3 a chance to rework them if it's necessary (see 3* characters that don't level past 140)

I haven't pulled a 3 out of one yet, but I'll be damned if i'm gonna have my first gold draw from one of these tokens be a she-hulk or a daredevil.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. I'll only be able to play in 3 of the required nodes this week. I was lucky to be able to do all of them last week, so I'll take a couple days off of the event this time around. One of the guys on my alliance got left out last week, didn't have a single one of the required characters at all...

That actually makes sense since most veterans would save every day until a new character was on and just instantly get a bunch of covers, which is bad for business

Is there any proof to this? People who didn't use your tacos last week, are they available for use this week for the current rewards?

That said, turul posted in the spoilers thread in the characters forum that it looks like DPDQ has 3 token pages that will likely rotate. So saving tokens might still work, they'll just be spread out some.

The new taco tokens have joined the stack of the 10 I earned the first 5 days this week. They have all have the updated draw rates for these new heroes. The 10 from the first week this event run are still in a separate stack. I guess it is worth hoarding after all!

Because I kept tokens since the last 5 days and there are all in a separate stack. And I don't have any tokens from the first run of the DDE.
