    Considering we only get 3*Mag covers every Full Moon during a solar eclipse, I'll take whatever covers I can get. And maybe top 100 won't be so ridic now.

    Does anybody know if the shield cooldown takes into effect the second you activate it, or the second it's broken? I'm going to attempt my first shield hop, and I want to make sure I don't leave myself SOL.

    I like it when there are 4 X Forces on the field. Shows how overpowered he is.

    I spent about three days trying to figure out how hops could work. Using all the math. I could find I still couldn't work out how to be shielded for more than 14 hours without a 24-hours shield — then I discovered the cooldowns start as soon as you activate a shield. It all made sence after that!

    Here is my current issue: from my roster, who will provide me the fastest hops?
    I've seen my progress bar reach 900 points 4 times in this event but always come out attacked and behind. The only opponents I have are all maxed X-Force/Lady Thor which take a long time to take down, even with boosts.
    I currently have teams queued to reach 900 again but not sure if it's worth it. Might stay shielded til the end.

    I don't know about speed, but my workhorses tend to be Patch and LCap. Once you get them going, they can work pretty quick. Assuming you're up against XForce/4Thor, I usually start working on XForce right off the bat, prioritize red and green, but deny black when necessary. Once you have the reds to hit him with Cap's shield, he'll go down relatively quick. Then you prioritize blue to keep 4Thor from stunning anyone too long. If she's about to, try to make sure you send out your loaner/featured. By this point, you should be able to take down the enemy featured pretty quick. Once 4Thor is the only enemy, I throw as many Berserker Rage's as I have saved up (usually 2-3 at this point), then try to keep her stunned while hammering her with shields and matching away the purple strike tiles until she's down. I've managed a couple of those without getting downed or attacked in the span.

    I hopped to over 850 today and immediately got knocked down to 786 and reshielded. I'm going to just be happy that I actually managed to do it and not worry too much about trying to get back up. I think the biggest thing for me is going to be learning when to reshield and not keep going for more.

    That's good advice and will give it a shot next time and see how it goes. I was using 3Thor/Loki,Hood with Mystique. I think relying on Thor to do all the heavy hitting was a drawback.

    I decided to stay shielded and be happy with the 2 Magneto covers I was getting. Hopefully with Deadpool's new daily event coming, stressing for 3*s will become a thing of the past.

    Managed top 24 somehow....hope this trend continues. Then again mag tournies are rare as tinykitty.
