Cashing out the 2 Stars

So, I'm looking at my shortage and looking over the roster. I'm fully transitioned to the point where i don't regularly use unless they are required for a heroic. Even then, I have all of the characters, so I'm normally not at a loss for playable guys in heroics. My roster is deep enough that most of them have multiple covers with a few exceptions, so even if they're not optimal they are playable when boosted.

With a fully covered and maxed being worth 12500 I figure I could sell them off and get quite a bit in exchange, which would let me level up several guys. The candidates are

My is fully covered with no iso in her.

My thought is to keep and since they can still be useful in a bunch of situations, and and have their uses as well. The rest are either useless OR I already have their equivalent.

I have a lot of options at the moment, like levelling among others.

Will this hurt anywhere except for heroics? With covers being very easy to obtain, I can easily get fully covered versions for BOP. I have the roster slots after all.

The only one I would consider selling is Moonstone. Even with a full 3* roster, I still enjoy playing boosted two-stars in PvE when given the possibility.

I was in the same situation as you, I sold all my 2*'s except for OBW, MNMags, and CStorm. It's really not a great deal relative to ISO returned, but, I literally never use guys like Daken, 2* Thor, etc. any more. So I liked getting the slots back and getting a little ISO as well.

The iso returned should be a ton better. Considering the amount of work that I put in to get those guys maxed out, 12500 seems pretty meager.

I did end up dumping Human Torch (I have the version so he was redundant, Moonstone who is generally useless and Wolverine because he was at level 79 and was never going to see a drop of iso again.

This let me max my LCap, who was my first max covered , but was never at the top of the priority list. I think it was worth doing, but I am expecting the next Heroic will feature Wolvie and Torch just to annoy me.

The others are still pending. I don't use them and I could use the iso. Honestly a million iso would be necessary for me to level all of the guys that I want to. I still have XForce at 190, with a max of 250 if I want, but I would rather him not kill my scaling in PvE, and try to get the covers and iso to bring 4hor to match him.

sell Daken - Torch- Moonstone and mayyyyybe Thor

the other ones have their use in PvE IMO- either unique powers, or combos, or just plain good when boosted (Ares)

If you're selling maxed 2*, you should be selling them for the roster slots, not the iso. The iso gained is so small, that you could probably make that much in a day or less. Do you play many lightning rounds against the seed teams?

Daibar it's a good point, and the roster slots are the second concern. I have been playing lightning rounds when I have the chance. I'm still way in the hole for iso, especially after a recent rash of gold covers. I'm happy to have finished covering in this week Daredevil, Blade and Deadpool, and I leveled Blade up right away, but the rest are going to be waiting a while.
