Need roster spot for Hood to do essentials in the Gaunlet

lvl 40 1* juggernaut 5/5
lvl 40 3* deadpool 1/0/0

Who should I drop for Hood? Used all my HP recently to get two slots (for deadpool and mystique as these covers were expiring).

    Drop Jug. He is easy to replace.

    Agreed, might be hard to say goodbye to the 10 covers and ISO you spent to get him to level 40, but it's what you should do. Tossing a 1* for a 3* is usually a no-brainer. He's great in balance of power and combined arms, but how often do those come around? And he is better at level 1 with 10 covers for those events for shorter regen times.

    Wouldn't have been the first maxed 1* I've dropped. Recently dropped lvl 50 ironman too.

    Though I'm more inclined to drop one of the other 3* hero, especially the 1 cover ones. It's not like I will be able to develop so many 3* heroes at once anyway. I did sell a Hood cover earlier on as I didn't think he was that good (well before I found this forum and I needed the roster space for my 2* rosters at the time). I even sold a 4* invisible woman (it was expiry at the same time as deadpool and mystique and I only had enough HP to purchase the 2 slots).

    Spider-Man is the only 3* I would consider dropping.

    Agreed. I'd also suggest trying to get the best 2* to level 94 ASAP instead of leveling them evenly, but that's mostly a matter of taste and playstyle.

    Done, spider-man dropped.

    I mainly play pve though (can't compete at pvp yet) so that's why I'm keeping the levels low to try and benefit from scaling. Initially had them around lvl 55 (to line it up with one of my 3* at the time) but then I got 4* thor so I decided to push them all to lvl 70. I do have 70k ISO saved up so I could push 2-3 of them to lvl 94.

    One of the reasons I suggested dropping Juggernaut and not a 3* is because you never know what kind of luck you'll have with token pulls. There was a 12 hr period, where I drew 3 blue Nick Fury's. So if you were to have some strange luck and pull a bunch of Spidey covers, you might regret tossing that 1 cover. You will probably pull a lot of Juggernaut covers before you could pull any 3* covers, so replacing him would be a lot easier.

    To me Juggernaught is still useful against pve. I do use him when I need to take out count downs or if I need to team him with ares to deal massive damage (by sacrificing health). Spidey and a lot of the lone cover 3* are just sitting there unused unless there is an essential node.

    Then you made the right decision. I wasn't sure how often you used him. But you have good reasoning to have kept him. And dumping Spidey was also the right choice for you, since he is the worst 3* you have. Even if you had him with more covers, he doesn't pose a lot of threat on offense, so you'd probably have trouble playing with him in the future.
