Roster slots: I'm in a pickle. Input wanted.

I know my roster list probably looks like a mess compared to most seasoned players, but I've only been keeping characters that I absolutely like from the comics (unfortunately heavy hitters like Daken and Storm don't make that personal cut).

However, because I'm so short of hero coins at the moment, now I'm a little open to pragmatism. I have two Rocket & Groot covers ready, and a Star Lord cover -- great, but no slots open. Who among my roster do you guys think I should cut to make room? Or should I just scrap these Guardians? Tough choices.

Tricky situation. If it were me, I'd scrap 2* Cap. I know he's a good utility character, but he's the weakest of your 2*s. After that, it's really tricky. I'd be leaning towards She Hulk, but it'd be a shame to lose those covers. You could also lose Psylocke, since she only has one cover. She's a good transition player, but fades out once you have a developed 3* roster.

It does look like you have Daredevil ready to go. If you could level him a bit more, you could possibly use him to replace a 2* in your roster, although there's no good colour coverage match for him in terms of someone to sell.

Personally, I don't like losing 3* covers, because of the whole essential for pve thing, but I understand that HP can be a real issue.

Hm, 2* Cap... I hadn't even thought about him being a possibility to scrap, but it makes good sense, especially since my 3* Cap seems well on his way. 2* Cap has carried me through a lot, especially against goons (I love being able to replace goon countdown tiles with his maxed abilities), but I have been seeing diminishing returns from him as of late.

Psylocke, yeah, I have been looking at her hard. She is one of my absolute favorite X-men, but she seems so extremely rare. She's been holding up that spot for a long, long time. Psylocke is a good possibility. I really want to keep She-Hulk though.

But yeah, you're absolutely right about Cap... he IS a 2* after all, so at least it wouldn't be too crazy to get him back if it came to that one day. Man, it might really be over for Cap...

Heh, I'm so scared of cutting Psylocke though. Watch me get a bunch of Psylocke covers right after I get rid of her -- this exact thing happened to me with Captain Marvel, and so I just get rid of all Captain Marvel covers almost out of spite, lol.

Psylocke is currently vaulted, so you can't get more covers for her at the moment. If you have to cut a three-star, you could do worse than a single-cover vaulted one. When she is released from the vault she will be a PvE/PvP reward, so getting rid of that one cover now shouldn't set you back that much later on.

Argh what bad advice. With your roster, keeping a new 4* with a single cover is ridiculous. You will not get utility from him in perhaps a year, if any ever. Starlord needed to go. Psylocke is not the greatest character and yes, she's currently vaulted, but she'll return any time and then she'll start being featured in PVPs and PVEs. It's not unlikely to get 5+ covers of a 3* in a season when they get featured, like recently Thor, Blade and Patch. Her black is also her best ability.

Fair point. I guess my feelings about 4*s are a bit different. I'm running with a reasonable maxed 3* roster, and I'm finding it difficult to get my 4*s sufficiently covered to render them useful, so I don't like dropping 4* covers at all. I can usually hit the 1k progression reward in pvp with my current roster, but it's dicey, and I'm the softest target out there at that point range. I do take your point, a single 4* cover is going to be a long way away from being playable, though.
