I need Luke Cage so please say yes.

EDIT: Nevermind, D3 I'd like to withdraw from the current PVP Simulator, this sucks and I don't wanna get notifications about some event I don't care about T-T.

In all likelihood no. You will hit maxed three stars between 1800-1900.

I would also say no. With a 2* team, you'll start taking significant hits from about 1500 onwards. With the amount you'd have to spend on shields, it'd be cheaper to buy the cover, if you already have one to start with. Sorry icon_e_sad.gif

    No.

In fact, as a 4* tier player (finished XF, Fury, Thor and all major 3*) I've found it extremely difficult to break 2400 at all. I've missed it in maybe 4 out of the last 5 seasons. The effort required to get this reward is easily more challenging than what was required to reach 1300 in pvp prog back in the day.

In my case, I'll frequently hit a wall of endless 8 - 12 point matches from ~2250 onwards. I remember actually winning 8 such matches unchallenged only to get hit for ~35 points negating over 3 matches of effort. Seconds later I'd get hit again. The amount of shield hopping to reach that mark is just completely unreasonable without out of game co-ordination.

    What. The. Krutack?

Even a 4*Player can't get 2,400 points? Maybe they shoulda adjusted Simulator instead of normal PVP....this blows so hard.
  • I don't know what is the point where point losses is mitigated by a nontrivial amount but my estimation is that it takes at least 100 guys at score X, where X is the point where no extra points are generated, for one person to hit X+400 as a natural process. Here natural means 'no shields'. It's probably a lowball estimate because I don't think anyone's hitting 1000 naturally and we certainly have a lot more than 100 guys at a score of 600 in any particular PvP event. But even using this fairly optimistic estimate, if you stop generating free points at 1800 then it'd take 1.5 such tiers or 1000 people at 1800 for a single person to hit 2400 naturally, so it's probably not happening. Of course, using shields allows you to get pass what is natural, but making 600 points with shield hop seems like it'd cost way more than whatever the cover is worth.

No, this is not hard as a 4*. It just takes something called strategy, which it seems many people lack.

You can get to 2200-2300 easily without shielding. Then do your last push within the last half-week of the season, so there are points available with others pushing, but not the last day of the event, where there's TOO many people active.

I would love to see this with a 2* team. Do it. Post video.

I clearly was talking about a 4* team.

But for the record, I did it with a 3* team in an early season. It was season 1 or 2. I was having fun with a new team I had put together, Daken/Psy/Falcon, and wanted to see how far they could get. I ran them exclusively from 0 to 2300. Used one shield. Finished off the last 100 with Sentry bombing.

Maybe late in a season. Early in a season you don't get high points from many players yet. In the final week of the season, absolutely.
