PVP Point Timing

Is it normal in high level PVP to hit a progression goal (as in you see the points tick up above the goal and have it tell you that you made that progression goal), then see you lost 100 points to attacks, and not get the cover for said goal? Does it take away the points you lose during a match BEFORE you get the ones for winning and then it just tallies them up wrong? Or did I encounter some sort of bug?

If you lose points while playing a match it doesn't update your point total on your app until after the match is over. So if you cross 1000, but have taken hits, the server will see you as being -100 before the match ends, but the app won't update until after your points for the won match are applied.

So the counter in the app is wrong/misleading/needs to be fixed and not receiving the cover is correct?

It's not wrong, it's just not updated until after the server is. So sometimes your points are adjusted after a match. This happens both ways though. Sometimes you'll beat a nodes and end up with more points than initially advertised because the server has updated data during your match. So yes, it is correct that you did not get the cover.

Ok I understand not getting the cover being correct. But if the counter shows my points over 1000 and that I hit a goal when I didn't, that is in fact wrong. It not being updated with the correct info makes it wrong and misleading. Maybe the counter should happen after it updates what went on during the match instead of before?
