Every pve needs a required character to do the essential nodes, so my thought is... how come the essential character can not be a 4*? Sure it'll be easier to get but wouldn't that help everyone to place better in the pve after reaching that reward? Also right before the event finishes you can also win the character in pvp. Why doesn't seem like the required character won't be recruited until the end of pve? Shora was. Is this a miss on the devs side? The rewards for category 5 should of been star lord not gamora.

I did not play the elektra pve because I didn't want to waste my time so I don't really care and I also skipped starlords pve..
