I have long thought about this game having a complete overhaul of it's characters with the aim of solving some of the concerns with the game and both simplifying and enhancing the end user experience - single base characters (able to then be varied in different ways), a closer connection to the official character abilities, unranked, max level 100 (but more ISO per level than now), a single roster / training system, possibly moving to a single currency (but have more opportunities to use it), a new take on boosts/team ups, disconnecting covers and levels, possibly remove tokens or have a new simplifed model of them, so on.

I don't follow comics so much but know some sort of Secret Wars reboot thing is coming up later in the year and (I am guessing) that out of it comes a series of characters going forward (eg. one Wolverine, one Storm, etc.), so these become your default characters (or whatever variation it ends up being). For example, you have your base "new" Wolverine (perhaps you can use Covers to earn Vanity to show him as other interpretations of him or as James Hewlett) openly available in your roster but to use him anything past level 1 you need to put Iso-8 into him. Characters also have inbuilt (or triggered) weaknesses and/or boosts.

I know this is going to soon get lost on page 2 of this sub-forum (and therefore, forever) but it's been said now.

Take a look at Puzzle and Dragons, I assume it's really similar to how you imagine MPQ.
  • Major thing here, no iso-8 needed for leveling up, just need to play with them to level up, like an rpg, that would help greatly to see character diversity in the games and no one can purchase to level char. , fair for all, rich and poor.

I'd go for it if it was MPQ2 - Muppets Puzzle Quest icon_lol.gif

    Muppet Puzzle Quest

Daily PvE - The Muppet Show
Lead your cast onto the stage and battle it out be the first to gain more than 15 points in each of 4 colours or keep your health the longest. Whichever team reaches either one first will get to host today's edition of "The Muppet Show"? Which teams will it be and which team will exit stage left?

Kermit the Frog (Sesame Street News variant)
    * Hi-Ho - Kermit rallies his fellow cast members and lays down a 3-turn countdown tile. While the tile remains active, his team gains one point in each colour.
    * It's Not Easy - It's never easy being green, as this allows Kermit to give his team an extra 5 green points, but also allows the enemy to take a random 3 points from any colour.
    * Yaaaay! - In his excitement, Kermit's waving and excitment knocks X health off each member of the other team.

Miss Piggy (Pigs In Space variant)
    * Prima-Donna - Destined for stardom, Miss Piggy demands 3 points from random colours belonging to the opposing team.
    * Making An Entrance - The camera follow her everywhere and the flashing blinds the enemy team causing them to stubble and fall, stunning 2 random members of the other team for 2 turns.
    * Karate Chop - Normally reserved for Kermie, Miss Piggy sends a member of the other team flying through the air and causing them to lose X health.

    Fozzie Bear (Cowardly Lion variant)
    * Wocka wocka wocka! - Another bad joke ends and as they are so grateful, 2 points of 4 random colours just give themselves to you.
    * Gimmicks - Fozzies' roller skates and banana peels trip over the other team, who each lose 15% of their current health.
    * Impersonation - Fozzie badly attempts to impersonate the other team members and places a 5 turn countdown tiles on the board that steals 2 random colours each turn from the other team.
