Hypothetically, if you have both xforce and thora max covered in the ideal manner, at what level would they be useful?

Depends on what you want to use them for, and what the rest of your roster looks like.

With max covers, for PvE they're useful probably as low as 120 depending on your existing scaling. PvP is closer to 175ish minimum.

Thanks to their mechanics, level 70 if they're max covered lol

Max covered they're useful immediately, but you're not going to win any PVPs with level 70 X-Force and Goddess of Thunder. If you want to be competitive in PVP and place well (top 5 or better) you want them both to be at least level 200 and level 220 for first place. Having the featured character fully covered and leveled to some extent helps too in a lot of cases, but not all.
  • Im killing 270 xforce/thor teams with a 130 thor/loki + boosts + shields

Sure that's totally possible, but it's likely costing you a lot more in shields and boosts than someone with a higher level Goddess and X-Force. The real benefit that the higher levels give you is speed. The more damage you do, the faster you win, the more matches you can play per hop, the quicker you climb the leaderboard, and the better you place.
  • Well, I have a 1/1/1 Goddess, so that's worth bugger all. My xforce is 4/4/3 and level 115 - and i really can't see myself investing in hum further until i get those last two covers. I've torn apart way too many undercovered xforces to see a benefit to sinking more iso into him yet.

Plus, as someone who is ready to transition from 135 Patch/Hulk as a hop team, to XF/3Thor, the other advantage is the first shield. At my level, I have to shield to stay above 550. There are frequently people unshielded for hours in the 700-800 range with 270 XF/4Thor

Since the highest level PVP is Thor/X-Force mirror matches most of the time, Thor really shines when she can one shot a 270 X-Force. not sure what exactly level that equates to, but matches go much quicker at that point. Typically my X-Force will take out the featured character (lowest HP normally) with X-Force or Surgical Strike. Then Thor can clean up by Power Surging the opponents Thor and Smiting the other X-Force. That leaves you 4 turns to either restun or Smite Thor to win.

Okay...thanks for the help guys, that means a long grind to get to where I need to be, but by then the whole game may have changed by then...I really want to just make sure I am always able to make top 100 or less so that I can get more 3* covers but it seems very hard to do with all the retaliation.
