Season Alliance Rewards and New Characters

At this point they have given out Nick Fury, X-Force, Thor, and 1 Elektra cover. Have yet to give out other 2 Elektra, Star Lord, and Invisible Woman (after her redesign). That means they are at least 5 seasons behind existing characters, if not 8. If they release another 4 star in the next 50 days that gap is going to grow, not shrink. Does this worry anyone else?

Elektra came out during season IX and became the Season X reward. That's cool I guess. A new 4* Character every 75-ish days seems about right. But then Star Lord came out during Season X. And he is going into tokens for Season XI. This seems like it's too fast to release 4* characters. Thoughts?

It doesn't necissarely seem to me that it's too fast of a pace to release 4*'s as much as it's too rare and hard to get a 4 * and with every new release it dillutes the pool even more.

Season rewards used to be a nice chance for us folk that aren't the top 2% (or whatever) to get our mitts on a 4* cover, probably they only one we'd get all season - unless drawn or if we can push to 1000 (not with the 270 wall starting at 650). I was furious when electra came out and now SL since my Thoress had a couple covers and I was praying for at least 1 more from season rewards....so now it'll take me a year and a half to max my Thoress instead of a year.

Two-week seasons to double the number of 4*'s out there, it's the only way I think they can keep up.

Didn't put there but should mention: They also need to have nothing but 4*'s as daily progression rewards after one year. I'd like to see the percentage of people that play past a year - it can't be tremendous. I'd also like to see how many of them need any 3* reward - it also can't be many. Longevity should be rewarded, and truly rewarded.

That's a good and fair idea Dailies get pretty slim after a while it seems. IW (lmao) aside, I haven't got a useful daily in some time, and don't give two hoots about the couple devil dino cards around the corner.

Hah, yea I posted in your thread as well

Daily progression covers need to be rebalanced. They are all over the place. XF doesn't show up for 149 days, and then Invisible Woman 130 days later, with 3 Devil Dino covers smashed in the middle, and then Nick Fury a mere 30 days after last IW cover. I am betting day 490 is also the start of T4or daily rewards.

Here's what I would do: Make all the 4* rewards like Devil Dino, 3 covers in 3 days. Currently there are 7, so why not space them out evenly around DD as the center at 1 year. Start at day 149-151 being XF, then every 72 days put in a new one, so 221-223 Invisible Woman, 293-296 Nick Fury, 365-367 Devil Dino, 437-439 Thor, 509-511 Elektra, 581-583 Star Lord, 653-656 Next 4*. Obviously you retroactive anyone who has passed the key days with the covers they would have gotten. Now you have a release schedule of new 4* every 3 seasons, and your oldest most active players awarded a bonus on that character sooner rather than later. Could bump XF reward up some so the spread between rewards is exactly 3 seasons plus off time, or could just leave it since there is some lead room right now. Highest players are on day 470ish atm I think.

And, as I suspected, Star Lord for season XI. This suggests 2 things, first that 4* are going to come at about 1 every 30 days and second, 4* are going to be a pain to cover fully.
