Proposal: AI difficulty levels

I think it would be fun for players to have the option to take on a more difficult AI for increased rewards. The AI would be able to do things like:

1) Use a single power more than once per turn.
2) Save up AP to use more expensive powers.
3) Match more complicated geometries such as the L-shape and T-shape.
4) Choose which characters to target.
5) Deny colors that are important to your team.
6) Match gems that result in larger cascades.

The reward would be something like a 1.5x or 2x multiplier to points. What do you all think?

    To clarify - under this system, any player that you "beat" under a higher difficulty would not suffer from an increased point penalty.
  • I understand the need for a challenge. Given the way the game is headed, I can't see the devs making your idea a "rewarding" experience. Personally I'm all for anything that sends truck loads of ISO-8 my way.
