Notification for when full points are available?
I love the new 8hr timers. They help me so much it's unbelievable. I have 1hr intervals between classes so I usually clear the nodes after my first class. I'm just wondering if, because there's these new 8hr timers, there was a way to notify the player when the player can earn full points again. I can do the math in my head and I know that because I just finished clearing I'll be able to play again when practice is over. And then when practice is over I'll sleep and wake up and have it available again. I just feel like it'd be beneficial to players to have a notification similar to the "your heroes are fully recovered and ready to fight" for full points on nodes.
Hope I made sense. I usually have difficulty explaining my ideas through text.

Set a timer on your phone/tablet/computer.0

That's a great idea. Having a notification pop up on your phone would be perfect. Also having notifications when events are ready would be great.
Really? Set a timer on your phone? That's good game design to you? This should be taken care of with in the app itself. OP is perfectly reasonable in their request.0 -

With 9-(18 nodes in simulator?) you'd be getting spammed by notifications. Remember that unless you are truly hardcore you aren't expected to be clearing nodes right as they cool off. If you are that hardcore, set an alarm. That last 8 hour PvE with 2 separate subs I had to set 2 separate alarms, one for the start of each rotation.0 -
I don't mean it each time they come up. I'm meaning for this to be in the case of a not that dedicated player but a person who's willing to play every 8hrs. And what i'm saying is, it doesn't show up every single time. More akin to what happens when your team is fully recovered. It doesn't show each time one of your characters is recovered, it shows up when your full team is. And in simulators case and events like it, it can reset for each of the three hub events(I don't know what they are called so i'll just call them that). Some people can't do these events all at once. I personally do them 1 at a time. In about 4hr increments. And I know especially on times like those it'll be hard for me to keep up. Right now its not because there's only one place to keep up with.
All i'm saying is when all the nodes are available for full points, it notifies you. And only when that happens. It doesn't seem that odd to me. I get the set alarm idea but i'm just saying as a whole. Not just speaking for the people of the forums but in general people who just play the game for fun or to kill some time like myself. They could get reminded of the fact there's a new event going on that I can try and get some more stuff in.0 -

So you really think that if they implemented notifications for events D3 wouldn't give you a powerful way to customize what events are worth notifying you and which ones aren't? Obviously just lightning rounds would be too much for some people, so there should be a way to customize it for each user's preference.0 -
If you feel strongly about it you should definitely make a post in the Suggestions thread. Personally I don't think it'd be that useful, if I'm awake I generally know when my nodes are coming off CD. The alarm is more useful because it will actually wake me up if I'm sleeping 2, 5, or 8 hours to hit the next set of nodes (see also: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23111). I also have all current notifications disabled anyway.0

There currently is an option to notify you when new events start (I think. I've never actually used it, check the settings menu). I believe what the OP is asking for is for a notification when PvE nodes are worth full points again. He's clarified that he wants one for when all nodes are worth 100%, I thought he wanted a separate notification every time a node comes off CD.
For me personally, if I'm trying to score well in an event I set an alarm for when I need to start playing again. If I don't really care because I don't need the reward, I play when I feel like it and check the remaining time periodically. If I miss a few hours on the cd due to sleep or RL or something I don't really care.0 -
I could tolerate this if it were like the other notifications that you could check on/off.0

I see that there are a lot of notifications on here that I didn't no existed, but I agree we do need one for full points. It just seems lazy that they haven't done that for us.0 -
What I would like is a indication, when you go into the event, to see which of the nodes are ready for full point. Or even better, if possible with the current UI, to show the timers of all the nodes (maybe as a circular bar around the circles?)
I sometimes have to wait before continuing to clear the nodes, meaning they are often out of sync, and as of now I need to go in and back for each to see which one(s) I can go.0 -

Showing a CD circle would be a little more complicated and it would require more resources but is probably doable. An empty circle would probably need to represent the current maximum cooldown rather than an absolute (since for instance 1 clear is 8 hours, 2 is 16 hours, etc.).
A bright green ring around fully cooled off ones would probably be easier (and would make it less likely that you miss a node during your rotation).0
