Feedback based on the video Q&A - Platinum tokens

I enjoyed the Q&A, and, in particular, I liked when they were talking about how and why vaulting works. In particular, he hinted at "if there was a different kind of liquid" then vaulting might work differently. Thus, I had the idea that, since we already have silver and gold tokens, why not introduce platinum tokens. As I'm sure you can guess, these would only produce 3 star and above. They would NOT be purchasable with cash (HP), as that would allow folks to skip the 2 star progression all together, but they could be awarded as high level rewards in PvEs and PvPs. They would be less valuable than specific 3 star covers, but more valuable than gold tokens. This would allow D3 to more finely tune the percentages, because the wouldn't need to worry about including 2 stars.

I like this. Potentially, this could replace the event tokens that people get right now. Then almost everyone would get at least 1 random 3* provided they get to 300 points in a pvp event. And 2 random 3* if they hit the progression target in PVE events. It's a good "chase the carrot on a stick" feature that would keep newer players motivated to play every event, especially if they don't hit T100 or are in a T100 alliance.0

These technically already exist and are prizes for the entry cost tournaments they have run in the past. What we need is a way to earn them outside of that structure, or even a way to convert heroic tokens to them at some rate (10 to 1 maybe?). A guaranteed 3* pull with better 4* odds would be an insane prize right now, better than any individual 3* cover, since most people are in the position of needing those 4*s to really compete at the moment.0

Can't the new covers just be placed in the progession rewards. It would encourage play, which is the point right? People first need to play the game in order to buy. The scaling and competition at times don't really make playing work out to earn rewards. If you just wanted to dabble that would work. Since people who actually play the game want more than to dabble, the new rewards need to be progression items. Seems more acheiveable. Leave the unacheiveable in pvp.0
