Just joined slice 5 and I got put into a bracket with 838 people. I'm a veteran player and got top 50 last PvE so I doubt it is a new player bracket. Likely a concurrently filling one.

Oddly enough I was put into a new vet bracket as I appeared as #4 in a player pool of now 35 players.

If those that got put into the concurrent bracket can post when that fills, it would be greatly appreciated.

The slice 2 bracket that opened about 25 hours ago is now at 145, leader is Blinkxi at 25k points, second is l3ubbaq at 23k.

Be warned that there is another bracket in slice 2 filling ATM and that one was getting close to filling if I read this thread correctly, so enter at your own risk... or wait until someone in that other bracket reports it has filled up maybe.

I took a risk and got lucky to join my bracket in 9th place I think, so there is the same risk even if the other bracket fills soon.

Well I joined your main about 45 minutes ago. Just trying out a few things not even going to put forward any real effort just want to see how they changed things up.

Browse the top 10 and look at their roster.

If they have mostly under non-fully covered chars (even if they're 4stars) then it's probably a newbie bracket.

I was placed in the newby bracket for some reason in the star lord event while trying to get into a newly opened bracket so it's not impossible.

Well I joined your main about 45 minutes ago. Just trying out a few things not even going to put forward any real effort just want to see how they changed things up.

I saw you in #2 in the sub after it started, the second one to complete all nodes. I was having same real trouble completing the last two nodes this sub, so I don't know if I'll be doing those two again. Might try when my health packs have regenerated, but might just skip them altogether since Top2 is pretty much out of the question anyway, which is perfectly fine: Top10 is more than I hoped for. Have to say I'm not unhappy you are not competing for top prizes Sumilea, since I would definitely not be able to keep up with you (tried it during another PVE IIRC and it was never gonna happen ) so that leaves me a little more room for top10. You probably have a maxed Daredevil already, so lucky me I guess.

On topic, my bracket in slice 2 is now at 176, leader is fishcake89 at 56k, second is (still) l3ubbaq at 54k.

Well, I have been lucky. Just joined the slice 1 and put in the new in 75th position. I am a veteran player.

Can we get three brackets for every slice? I feel as if those two are filling way too quickly. And maybe make them 2000 players each.

Nobody is entitled to a fresh bracket, especially this late in the tournament but this bracket has been open for days already. I needed the green Xforce from this PvE, it seems the only way to compete for the top prizes is to join the tournament in the first couple hours of the event. Everything after is 90% luck dependent. Those brackets are open for days and if you join a refresh late you can kiss the top prizes good bye. The brackets were already taking way too long to fill but instead of reducing the bracket sizes they went the other way and doubled the brackets.

This bracket opened very early in Sub2. And while there was a risk in joining it at that time, with the knowledge that there might be another bracket open, there is no way that I am willing to commit more than 3 days to grind for a top2, so a chance I was willing to take. This is still better than randomly joining and it sure beats trying to grind from start to finish

There definitely seems to be 2 slice 4 brackets, judging how angela90 is posting about a bracket completely different form mine.
