Someone just had Starlord as a team up.

Is that even possible at this point? I don't think any of the time slices have finished yet, have they?
Sadly didn't catch their name. It was the purple move. I just saw this weird flashy move I'd never seen before as Starlord faded in. It was a real "Bwuh!?" moment.

  • I fought someone with his yellow yesterday. It would bother me if the moves were better.

I'm more curious as to how it's possible. Unless he's rotated into tokens already and some people really lucked out?
  • I fought someone last night as well who had him as a team up. I was really curious how that was possible.

Had his red power used against me. It worked on my abilities, but the tile didn't activate, so no animation.

Team ups are randomly assigned from characters in the game and have nothing to do with your roster. They are the same level as the defending team up to the character's level cap and always 2 covers. So very few enemy teamups are actually bothersome except maybe something like whales which is still close to 2k aoe at 2 covers.

Luke Cage also appeared in enemy teamups before anyone had him.

I totally agree. I actually fought two people yesterday who already had Starlord team ups. I don't know how they got it. But I would have been pissed if they were actually good team ups. The one that makes a countdown that erupts after a few turns to give you damage is useless and didn't do anything to me. The one that makes the enemy use 1 less AP per super move is useless. Maybe these moves will be a little more worthwhile when they are beefed up, but he is a useless character. And the art is awful, too.

I was wondering the same. I fought against a team with a level2 red Starlord TU. Maybe in the sim.
I did not let them use this TU though... icon_e_confused.gif

Really? I thought team ups were given as a random ability from the characters you just fought up to their level.

Team ups you get after a match are from the characters you just fought. Team ups the enemy team starts with are random. That's why you see so many bagman and invisible woman team ups...

Considering the people you fight get to chose any team up they want (The AI) yes it was possible.
