Can someone explain to me, how I have a pretty good 47 strong roster with a good top 8 (120 to 142, 3* and 4*s) and am 37th in Starman overall, and, in 3rd, is a guy with a 24 strong roster, top 6 being 70 to 94.
He's 3rd! I'm 37th! I play pretty much every 3 hours and do each node once, and if I'm busy for a while I'll play each node a couple times round, timed to refresh for when I'm next free.
But how can he be playing it? I understand scaling, but jeez, I've got a huge powerful roster, he has a **** little roster, yet he's 3rd and I'm 37th!
Please, how can I get results like this guy???

With a much weaker roster his scaling is way below yours. So even if you are both clearing every node every refresh his grind at the end of the sub is much easier. He may be able to clear every node down to nearly 1 point while you may struggle to get two full clears at the end. This is assuming you don't buy health packs.
These 4* pve events also bring out a lot of alarm clocks. Some wake up every 3 hours for a refresh so even if you do your 2 clears before going to sleep your still losing ground. Sleeping, work, any kind of social life are tough to overcome in a 4*pve with 3 hour refreshes:/0 -
Thanks.
Clear down to 1 point? Is that better than do once and wait for 3 hours? But the wait time must be hours and hours if you clear down to 1 point (or near)....0 -

depends on your schedule. before bed you can clear 3 times to set timers at 9 hours so theyre fresh in the am. once the sub is within three hours of closing grind it 6 times to null.
whenever youre not going to be able to hit a refresh make as many passes to compensate for any refreshes you know you are going to miss. its optimal to hit every three hours but life happens for most.
and make certain to farm the single node on the main page. 200 pts for free 8 times per day (or slightly less if you farm 2 to 3 at once) through the course of the event really adds up. good luck.0 -
