Lag During AI Moves

Since the new update, there is a noticeable lag when it's the opponent's turn. It's most noticeable at the end of their move, before the player gets to make their move, but it also seems to lag when the AI uses powers. The game seems to be making several checks that takes about half a second to complete. This is really strange since I assume that most checks that the game engine makes would be prior to the AI making a move, and not after.

The game is practically unplayable with this laggy experience. My Galaxy S3 Android has had sufficient horsepower up to this point to play the game extremely smoothly. Now it's very slow after AI moves and during all animations. Please address immediately and this makes matches go much slower and the animations don't always complete, leading to a dissatisfied MPQ'er here.
