I wish someone had told me to hold on to all my skill covers until they implemented the 5-level, 13-skill system.0 -
I didn't realize for quite a while that if you use an ability on an enemy that does more damage than that character has healthpoints for that the damage doesn't carry over onto the next enemy character. I know I wasted a lot of abilities using this - especially at the very beginning when I though Juggernaut's Headbutt was the greatest thing ever.
I know I wasn't actually "wasting" anything like iso or HP but after I discovered my mistake I started winning matches a lot quicker and keeping my characters alive longer.0 -
Saw it mentioned in this thread but couldn't find an answer searching the forums. How do you choose your defense team for pvp?0

The AI uses the last team you won a match with as your defensive team. Or in the case of Retaliations, the team the person lost to. So to set a defensive team, alot of players will keep a node that they know the defensive team will beat. They then play with their A team until they are ready to stop and switch to the defensive team and beat the node they were saving.
I would have liked to have known how hard HP was to come by and how easy the 1* covers came. I spent the HP the game gives you to start with on an IronMan cover because I thought that HP was how you were SUPPOSED to level ablilities and that covers would be the rare way to level them for "free". Of course I then finished the first sub of the Prologue and found out what a big mistake I had made.0 -

THIS IS SUCH COMPLETE AND UTTER ****! Why on earth would this NOT be explained in the game? I've spent the last 75 days using my lowest leveled characters (like level 35 Hawkeye, 25 Torch, 15 Ms Marvel) to defeat the seed teams up to 100 points and then going back to PvE for every single PvP that happened.....for 75 days. Now it TOTALLY makes sense that I have always been defeated all the way back down to like 30 points every single freaking time.
Oh em freaking gee.0
