Remember the days when the devs trolled us with Loki rewards/pvp events to end seasons? I am now 180 degrees in the opposite direction.

Aye. Another cruise control event where a decent alliance score and T50 are the only goal. 5/4/4 after this event will be very nice as a low effort return. He already sees a lot of use as a support toon with his current 5/5/2 build.

I like to think this happened at Top Secret Dev Headquarters:

Dev1 - The season is ending, we should be nice.
Dev2 - We could give as the obtainable double cover.
Dev1 - Or we could do the Double again.



This makes me happy. I'll be riding the carousel again, as between a few LRs yesterday and throwing tank teams into , I'm up 45k since I started yesterday.

To get t100 in squirrel girl pvp, i had to get 671 points. I'm guessing it's going to be the same this pvp

Very happy to see green Loki, but why do they always run a PVP event for a character at the same time it is the essential character in PVE. That is very annoying.

They want you to choose between PvE and PvP.

Alternately, they want people who don't focus on PvE enough to get top-100 scores to have a chance to win the essential character sometime during the event.

I guess both of you are are much more optimistic than I. I only see it as a way to try and convince you to buy health packs to be able to compete in both events

It's a bit simpler than the other responses. It's not for health pack sales. Those are a negligible amount of income for them.

It's because then that character is featured in more than one set of cover packs. As a player, you have extra chances to win this character through a token earned in the event. As a business they're more likely to sell cover packs when that players get to use that character in more than one place (especially when you get to try out a loaner in PvP, or a leveled one in a Team-Up node in PvE).

I think they just have PvE/PvP to double up on the same key characters to try to showcase them to entice you into leveling them up. Whether that actually works is anyone's guess.

So many variables. I've been t100 with just over 500. I've missed it with 700. Last PVP, 906 was good enough for 39th, while I've seen alliance mates win a bracket with 540 in the past. It's ridiculously random.

That being said, my Loki will easily be 5/4/3 after this one.
