Disappearing Hero Points (gold)

My hero points disappear without rhyme or reason. It's happened to me now about 4-5 times since I've been playing. Most recently one minute I have 305 and the next I look up and I'm down 100 points. I sent a ticket about my problem, but I wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen to them. Normally when it happens I send a ticket, someone responds, and they credit me the points. The last time the person that helped me seemed to imply it was something I was doing. All I know is my points dissappear. Once I reached an award for 50 points and it subtracted instead of added. Can anyone tell me if it happens to them? It's very frustrating.
