Game crash during automatic Facebook update

Running Android Lollipop on my Nexus 5.
The timing sucked. Just turned on my phone, opened Puzzle Quest, and went into a node for The Hunt. Made two matches, and the game crashed, sending me back to my home screen. Once I was there, I noticed my phone was performing a Facebook update.
Might be a tricky one to fix, given how the game is tied to Facebook (I do have FB Sync turned on) but I figured I'd report it anyway.
