Ever been unable to retaliate?

Don't know if this is a thing, but just now (in the last 5 minutes) I was hit in the Coversquirrel event, for like 6 points. So I was looking to see what kind of retaliation points I could maybe earn back. But nothing. There was no red node once I entered the event screen, so I got nailed with no opportunity to get any points back, and it was potentially going to be a decent amount, especially compared to the typical 19-21 points I always seem to get from normal matchups.

So is this happening to you guys and I am just now realizing it, or was it a glitch?

Yup happened to me too not so long ago, i thought it was just a glitch.

Click on the event rewards (loads a different part of the servers) and then click back, should be there. Happens frequently if you are hit while actually playing, as the time between reporting score and adding retaliation node is noticeable. When you aren't playing you don't notice the lag time.

Just happened again. I loaded into the game (Steam Version) where there is the "you've been attacked" pop-up, indicating who it was and how many points you lost. I enter into the event, and again, there is no red node to retaliate from. So that's twice, the same situation. I'm getting screwed.

This happens all the time and I stopped trying to figure out why it happens. Sometimes I'd get the 'you lost 250 points due to these guys + others" and I'll start working on my retals and it'd run out after 3. It's like seriously, 3 retals for losing 250 points?

Yeah I've noticed this too. The other thing happens to me almost 100% of the time. While playing if I get hit the retaliation node will be the next one in the queue instead of overwriting one of the 3 visible nodes. If it happens while I'm out of the game they will overwrite one of the nodes though.

I just experienced this too. Lost ~120 points, and the summary screen showed at least 4 or 5 attackers. Loaded up Squirrelcover and cleared each node once and there were no more retaliations available.
