Some people love the game so much they have a mobile account and a steam account, so maybe that's a possibility? Otherwise it's impossible.
  • well I've seen people on Facebook posting that they have more than one online so I was slightly confused
  • I didn't think it was possible to have more than one but I read posts on Facebook where people had mentioned that they had more than one alliance so I was confused...

What they mean is that there are groups of alliances that work together, sometimes coordinated by one person. A single person can't be in multiple alliances at once, but can move between them freely or have their friends run the alliance. Type in "DMZ" when searching for alliances and you'll see what I mean.

Thank you for comprehensively answering this without patronizing me. I greatly appreciate it.
  • Also, in some alliances where PvE isn't compulsory, players with a good PvE score might temporarily switch to another alliance.

It's possible for one person to be in multiple alliances, just not with the same account/roster. I run one account on my phone, one on my tablet, and the 3rd on my wifes tablet, (I took over her account when she retired from the game). icon_eek.gif Each account/roster is in a different alliance.

Unless you are hopelessly addicted beyond redemption to MPQ, ( like me icon_lol.gif ), I would not suggest running 3 rosters. It's a lot of work. Especially since all 3 are commanders. Of course that means that I'm not only running 3 rosters, but 3 alliances. If I was playing as a regular player and not a commander I'm sure it would be much less time consuming, but still hard. icon_e_biggrin.gif But I love the game, ( hence the addiction ), and play with a super awesome group of guys/gals, so it worth it to me. icon_e_wink.gif

    edit for spelling.
  • How do they join another Alliance and then return to their original?
  • By remembering the names of the alliances they are bouncing between, you can search for specific alliances and attempt to join any of them as long as they are not full.
