8 hr refresh.

I may be in the minority, but I don't like the 8 hr refresh. Maybe it is just the event paired with the new refresh timer. But so far it hasn't been enjoyable at all, here are the reasons why. With the scaling I've been seeing after 1 refresh, most are to levels 160 & above which make them almost unplayable to me. My highest character is at level 148. So trying to finish strong, leaves me with nothing in the tank to start the next sub. I've been playing optimally clearing every 8 hrs & am in 14th place in the main, where most of the leaders are grabbing points here & there. Then there are the long periods of inactivity, do a clear & then twiddle my thumbs for 8 hrs. I late join every pvp, because I'm not shielding & wasting HP. So that's not an option. LR only happen for a few days a week, so that don't help & then there's the sim. But i don't do that until the end as well. So I'm left with playing other games that are vying for my hard earned money as well. Also the fact that there players with very low rosters in the top 10 this late in the event is ridiculous to me. I have hit the top progression already & want the LThor covers, but I can't find a good rhythm or the proper playing style to get motivated to go any further. So I will wait until the next event & see if it gets any better, if not who knows what will happen. But I believe 8 hr refreshes isn't the answer. Also for the record sleep is highly overrated & there is plenty of time for that when we are dead. 3-4 hrs is my average sleep long before I found this game. The game just gave me something to do while the rest of the country was asleep.
