Hit twice while shielded

Today something odd happened in my pvp. I was hit twice while I was shielded. I don't mean twice overall, I get hit dozens of times while shielded usually. I was hit by the same opponent twice during my 8 hour shield. I know that people show up in your cue, and you can hold on to them for a while, but both of these attacks were during my shield and did not affect my points. The player is not in my bracket, I think, so it doesn't really matter, but it seems odd. Alex1978, if you are out there, did you attack me twice, or was this a weird glitch? The attacks came 2 or 3 hours apart while under an 8 hour shield, so it seems odd to me. Anyone have an explanation for me?

Nothing strange at all. Most likely is you were in a retaliation node AND in the pre-queued targets behind his visible nodes. Sometimes you can be sitting in the queue behind being visible in a node IIRC. So it's just an eccentricity of the pre-queueing they do to reduce apparent server lag.

I've hit people 3 times while they were shielded because I'm Jamie Madrox and I ignore shields.

Actually I had them in a retal node, regular node, and they were cached in a node below those as well. It happens.

Ok, good explanation. I didn't realize the cache stayed constant once I shielded. No big deal for me because it didn't cost me anything, but I was curious if it was normal. I appreciate it guys.

I always thought jamie maddox does not have retals cause he never gets attacked.

You may attack him, but even if you win you lose. After every match with Jamie, you are forced to pay homage by donating your points to him. It's a lose-lose either way..

Jamie gets a retaliation node even when his heroes ward off your attack.

Which is always. Jamie always wins, and always retaliates.

Had the same thing happen today as well. However my defense won both fights. +33 points
