Facebook Backup Spam Deletes Your data.

Do not use facebook backup. MPQ spammed me to backup using facebook, I say sure, click login, then it deletes all my guys and progress loads some garbage from last year on my last phone. What the hell is the point of that? Is it a feature designed to make users quit? Oh you like our game, well how about you start over! icon_e_sad.gif No part of a backup involves overwriting the data you want to back up.

Can I at least have my money back?

    This feature works well for most players. If you open a support ticket, they may be able to help you restore your data. You can do this from the "help" functions in the settings menu.

    If you have a prior Facebook backup, it warns you that you'll lose all the data on your current account when you sync it. That would be the time to tap "cancel."

    I made a support ticket, but posting here seems to have a chance of a human reading it. The posting rules thread has hundreds of posts of people complaining support taking months to reply. I'm here because I want help and there are actual humans here.

    As for the feature: It spams me to backup, I finally agree and then I'm supposed to hit cancel? Why the hell is it in there? The function could be renamed "click cancel or start over" and it would make more sense than calling it backup. How am I supposed to backup my game if there's one in there? Do I have to make a new facebook account?

    update: over a week in and nothing, just a second email with a form letter that doesn't explain what a PVP name is or where it's set or how to check my current one or how to find out what the previous one was. I start the game on my phone, it runs. Well, at least I did. I suppose it only cost me like 10 bucks, might be a wise time to move to a better supported game.

    Maybe in bizzzzzzaro-world, yeah, tickets are actually looked at and resolved.

    Posting here and contacting forums mods have yielded better results getting problems resolved in my experience.
