Way back on the 30th Dec, I submitted a CS ticket where I received a PVE reward (red patch) applied the cover and when I restarted the game the cover was gone, after the initial confirmation email I then received no updates about the issue.
Unable to find the support ticket number I deceived against chasing (my logic being I want my patch to be 5/3/5 and this would bring him to 3/4/5 so I was not overly concerned (but still a little annoyed))
3 weeks passed with no comms or news but then late last night I received an email saying that my account would be credited with 1 x red patch.....I opened the game and boom, 1 free patch.
While they were not the quickest and did not communicate very well, I will give the CS team credit for successfully resolving my issue, I know that the support team can get a lot of flak about the responses or actions (or lack of actions) but I would like doff my cap to them on this issue and say thank you.

The same happened to me in this past PVE. I finished 34th, so that means I won 2 Squirrel Girl covers. But one of them disappeared. I sent a ticket and they told me i have to wait... The good thing is that now i know the "wait" timeframe is 3 weeks0

Mileage varies. I had a hellish 4 days over the Thanksgiving holiday with virtually every reward I earned from progression and placement getting lost due to connection drops and app crashes; I was submitting tickets almost hourly to mention different rewards that had gone AWOL.
That Tuesday they reminded me that submitting multiple tickets for the same issue can slow resolution (my bad - I was viewing each reward as a separate failure -- anyway); they told me to pick one of the tickets and submit a complete list of everything that I felt I had lost. I didn't go through the rewards for individual PVP fights or PVE nodes, but I submitted that ticket with the revised list of affected rewards later that day.
By Friday of that week they had restored everything I had listed. (that was huge for me - 4 of my covers for Rocket & Groot had gotten lost in that mess.) My resolution was essentially 96 hours (if you only count the 4 business days lag) and 2 of those days were likely the result of my having ticket spammed them.
If I could offer clues as to why some tickets take weeks and others come within the 2 day SLA I would share them. Best of luck as you wait for your Squirrel Girl covers.0
