Tournament formats?

I've read here in the forums that there have been (or will be) tournaments where you could only use Dark Avengers characters. There was also the Black Widow tournament. Does anyone know if there was a tournament that was limited to characters of a * level, or maybe to teams of total X level? ( X = 3 - 9 I don't include 4* characters)

    Yes, there have been two 3-star tournies thus far and one 1-star tourney.

    I don't recall a 2-star tourney.

    There have been one-star only tournaments and three-star only tournaments in the past.


    Many of us would like to see a 6 star tournament, where you can only use three heros that (when added up) equal 6 stars.

    Definitely looking forward to something like that. Maybe a 6 star tourney would be fun too (be able to use a 4* once they actually are worth using).

    Yea, I did some bad math there. I meant a 6 star so you can do a 3+2+1 or a 2+2+2 or even just a 3+3 if you feel so bold. :p

    I think I like 5 better, assuming you can run 2 man teams.

    I wouldn't even mind if this became a universal mechanic (maybe 9 or 10 total) as it would help balance the 4-stars.

    Thanks for the replies. A 5* or 6* tournament would be fun and would probably breathe some life into some 1* heroes.
