    They're all 500 player brackets unless you're joining toward the very end of the event and happen to get a fresh one that doesn't end up filling. Which you probably won't know until after the event concludes and tells you that you were ranked "19 out of 431 players". Tricky thing about PVE brackets is that unless you are sitting on 0 points, you're not going to be able to see the bottom of your bracket to know how many players are in it. And even with 0, if 25 people joined after you, you still won't see to the bottom, and have to lose a match to become the lowest of the players with 0 due to the way tie scores are displayed.

    Yeah, I was trying to swipe a fresh-ish bracket. I usually manage between 350 and 450 points, and was trying for a t100 to snag my first yellow cover for CM.

    I was in slice 1 and the wall was hardly there at all. Most strange.

    Same boat. The wall didn't hit until I was around 750 and even then it was weak. Unfortunately, I was in a high scoring bracket, so my 760 was only enough for top 50 and I wasn't able to grab that last black cover.

    I also didn't realize just how poorly HT synergizes with most of my PVP staples. His red packs a punch, but when your heavy hitters are Patch and LCap, the lost red tiles hurt.

    So slice 1 isn't normally like this? Saw a lot of ~130 teams in the last few hours and ended up top 100 even while doing laundry. Guess few people wanted Captain Marvel now with so many better alternatives out there now.

    Well i managed to get some points in after the bombardment from all the heavy hitters. I'm not gonna lie, this was a fun and competitive event. I like when Crewsaders and Xmen come visit slice 5 for some friendly competition. On to the next event, hopefully a few of you all come along for the party.

    Slice 5 is where the fun is. All the snipers hang out and catch you slipping if you aren't on your game. So far i am actually enjoying this season. Thanks for keeping it fresh everyone.

    I don't remember what slice I was in, but it ended at 1pm eastern time. I believe the top score for my slice was only 600 icon_e_surprised.gificon_e_surprised.gif I was in 4th when I left to go back to work with 500+ points. How can anyone in my slice hit progression rewards (rhetorical)?

    I took a month long sabbatical from the game. Don't know why, but I've been joining ridiculously easy brackets. For this event, I missed to 6am slice, so I was forced to join the 12PM one. First was around 400. Pushed to 325 before taking a break. Started pushing again with 30 minutes left. Around the 10 minute mark, I was 1 match away from taking the lead. Unfortunately, I wiped, losing 11pts. With 4 minutes left, I tried to search for a 37 point match, but the best I could find was 35. Won the match, but I was still 2 points away. Searched for a new match with the smallest amount of HP, but I finished too late. Ended 2nd with 451. Darn, could've really used that blue Fury. icon_cry.gif

    Just out of curiosity, when did you join your slice? I'm wondering which bracket you were in cause I joined with 25 hours left, finished with 522 points and ranked 138th... My slice also finished at 1pm eastern time

    I really don't remember when I joined, but I almost always choose what slice to join before the events start.

    Glad the snipers got a taste of their own medicine. The heavy hitters became snipers so Maybe the snipers can be heavy hitters. Maybe I can see on top of the leaderboards for once....maybe....nah

    I have to say I enjoyed how well Human torch worked against Goddess teams. You can really spit out Fireballs rapidly if you destroy Charged tiles...
