European tourny end times could be kinder

Hi guys

I appreciate the recent efforts to make tournament end times a bit friendlier to European players, however they are still quite restrictve.

Currently they are set to finish at 16:00 GMT / 17:00 CET. A standard working day in Europe starts from 08:00 and finishes at 18:00, including travel time. With this in mind it would be greatly beneficial if tournaments finished at 20:00 GMT / 21:00. This would give plenty of time for people to work, come home and eat and then sit and play the last part of a tournament or PvE event.

I understand that you can't please everyone with end times, however I believe the above to be a fairly typical scenario.

Forget about staying up until 5am if it works out that way.

it's 6am in Poland (Central Europe).

but yeah - instead of 5-7pm it should be 9-11pm. that's for sure.

currently both end times suck for European people. I know that on the other hand we have better alcohol and better women than people from US, but ending event at 6am or 6pm is just cruel...

A sensible change would be to make the sub events duration based on a 9 or 10 hour increments as opposed to the current 12. This way we would have 4 or 5 different ending timed troughout the events as opposed to the current 2, and everyone would have a shot.

I don't really understand the thinking behind the 17:00 finish times. I mean, people at the company that set these times work these hours in their own their own timezone.

Well, currently the end times are either noon or midnight Eastern US time, where the devs are based and neither of which are particularly convenient either.
