So now with the release of Squirrel Girl.. we are getting a another new character,

what i'm still trying to figure out now is that we have had the awesome new smilies for i'd say easily close to 6 months now (correct me if i'm wrong) and through the character icon they had teased icon_ironpatriot.png .... so my question is.. when is he actually getting released, there was talk that he was supposedly our new star.pngstar.pngstar.pngstar.png but we have had 2x star.pngstar.pngstar.pngstar.png characters since then....

    My tinfoil hat conspiracy theory is that Marvel refuses to approve a Norman Osborn Iron Patriot since they'd prefer to see Rhodey as IP like in the MCU. And D3/Demiurge want Norman since it makes sense to finish off the Dark Reign story line.

    An interesting theory, and could also be another reason why we haven't seen the end of that storyline yet.

    They can't get the ok to use the character they want/need to in order to finish it they way they want.
